MDH Doctors and OR Nurses carry out free surgical operations in Divine Word Hospital
Last November 28-29, 2015, two years after Supertyphoon Yolanda hit the Visayas region, Manila Doctors Hospital conducted a Surgical and Medical Mission for financially-challenged patients in Tacloban, Leyte and Guiuan, Eastern Samar. It also funded by GT Foundation and in collaboration with Divine Word Hospital. Patients underwent free surgical operation for Goiter, Hernia, Gallstone and Hemorrhoids and removal of cysts. Free medical consultations and medicines were also provided during the two-day mission that integrated the Deaf Community. More than 53 volunteers composed of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and support staff made the delivery of quality healthcare services possible.
