Studies have found that muscular function and strength peaks in the evening hours along with oxygen uptake. A night time run is a great way to stay fit, loosen up and generate positive energy before going to bed.

The best practice for a safe night run is to suit up with highly reflective details to make it easier for motorists to see you. SAKUNTALA, ang singsing ng Kapalaran

SAKUNTALA is the greatest Sanskrit Drama of all time by Kalidasa and it will be its maiden production featuring some of today's vibrant theater, TV and film artists led by Art Theatre Manila artistic director and founder, Prof. Joey Ting. ART THEATRE MANILA is a new professional theater company based in Manila that showcases Asian Theater and Literature while it promotes exceptional Filipino artistry, discipline and values.
Sneak Preview of SAKUNTALA

It is sometime 2080, after a global plague and when nuclear weapons were destructive to mankind, groups of ethnic tribes have survived in the Philippines. Sakuntala, believed to be the daughter of an unknown deity, belongs to a group where spirituality is at the center of their core while Dusyanta, head of the other classified circle, belongs to another where the urbanized influences are their trademarks.

In a mystical island gravitated with caves and stones while waters on beaches have been affected by the chemical substances, Dusyanta, while hunting beasts, sees Sakuntala.
He falls in love with Sakuntala and the love plot starts. Love is tested. Love is twisted. Love is suppressed. Love is left behind and forgotten. What is the true meaning of LOVE between Sakuntala and Dusyanta?

The movie is exclusively distributed by Solar Pictures and directed by Fabrice Du Welz (Alleluia fame), written & produced by Stephen Cornwell with writing partner, Oliver Butcher (Unknown fame). Stars are: Chadwick Boseman as Jacob King, Luke Evans as Wentworth, Alfred Molina as Preston, Teresa Palmer as Kelly and Natalie Martinez as Trish. With MTRCB Rating: R16 (restricted strictly for 16 years old and above) and it will run to 1 hour 42 minutes.

A mysterious outsider named Jacob King from South Africa arrives in Los Angeles to avenge his younger sister's death. When Jacob King (Chadwick Boseman) left South Africa for a week in America, his mission was simple. Find Bianca. Losing contact with his younger sister, fueled by regret over unresolved issues, found him in the pit of Los Angeles’ underbelly, immersed in a worst-case scenario. He had one week to find her, to save her from all she had become. However, he would find himself avenging the only thing left. Her memory. Grief, guilt and loss are merged in his search for identity. In a world of fractured souls, how do you discover yourself? How do you discover each other? Those human dynamics meshed into a revenge thriller. Remorse is a powerful motivator. It can transform the pursuit of justice to passionate vengeance in the blink of an eye.
In a sense the film also explores a longing, as much as loss, for family that can no longer be. King holds tightly to the tattered remains of his childhood siblings’ bond that left him as the sole keeper of the flame – another had perished. Reluctantly and cautiously, King unwraps that cherishes treasure to Kelly, Bianca’s friend. It is a bond that marks a vanishing bloodline, a surrogate little sister.
Inspired by the Neo-Noir thrillers of the 1970s. Specifically the director, writer and director wanted to capture the trademark of that era that informed the narratives of such films as Get Carter, Point Blank, the Dirty Harry franchise and Sergio Leone’s Spaghetti Westerns franchise known as theMan with No Name Trilogy (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, For A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More) – both franchises starred Clint Eastwood. They explored the conflict between values and the corruption of violence in society and usually at the expense of loners forced to compromise their better nature to survive in a nihilistic brutal world.

Brought back to the screen by the writer and the producer, such Award-winning contemporary classics as Whiplash (starred J.K. Collins), Nightcrawler (starred Oscar nom, Jake Gyllenhaal) and Drive (starred Oscar nom, Ryan Gosling), hopes to bend genre boundaries once again with Message from The King, a crime thriller, perceives as infused with melancholy.  All of these movies have a sort of common thread in what is called, “artsploitation.”  They have elements of an art-house movie, embedded in a good story you want to lean into and find out how can they possibly experience what they do before the end. What happened?  Who had sex? What is part and parcel to making a really entertaining movie, but doesn’t insult the audience?

Chadwick Boseman (the Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War), who plays King, compares the film’s narrative to a “cowboy movie.” It is about a guy who is a fish out of water, trying to salvage his family.  He comes into Dodge, which is Hollywood, to L.A. and finds the bad guys.  But it’s not a straightforward shoot `emup movie. It’s a thriller but it’s really a psychological drama. A method actor, Boseman, who is a theater director-actor, decides to prepare for the role by traveling to South Africa and learn as much about King’s world as possible in a short window of time – one week. “It was about research,” confidesBoseman, “spending time in Cape Town, getting a sense of what it’s like to live there, to be from there, the townships, the different parts of the city, the night life, the police, the gangs.
Message From The King will be in Philippine cinema beginning September 20, 2017 in several cinemas nationwide. Follow Solar Pictures on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @solarpicturesPH.

4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team, Strikes Gold at Eneos Philippine Motorsport Championships

Last August 5 and 6, 2017, the 4S1M-Yamaha Racing team powered by BRT and Racing Force made a powerful return and achieved two gold and silver awards, at the recent fourth leg of the ongoing Eneos Motorsport Championships held at the Clark International Speedway. A more aggressive 4S1M racing team dominated the Clark track in the Moto IR 2 Category with Jeff Teopengco posting first place finishes on both races 1 and 2. Both Mark Djereck Ondillo and John Emerson Inguito, won second place under 115 Underbone Novice and 150 Open Underbone, respectively. John Emerson Inguito, who was the newest addition to the team, showed off his maneuvering skills winning. “I am very happy that I won the race, considering the fact that I am against other skilled racers,” he shared. Meanwhile, Herbert Lopez posted a respectable finish throughout the race, standing second place in the overall ranking under the 150 Underbone Division, only five points behind the current lead.

During the race, the 4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team showcased the introduction of the latest R15 from Yamaha Philippines and once again brought their finely tuned 150cc Sniper MX and 160cc Mio Scooters with them. The racing team’s motorbikes were fully decked out with impressive racing parts from its exhaust system from Replica Pro, to sprockets from RK Racing Chain, to its suspension from Gaz-i Philippines and Moto Garage PH, brakes and brake pads from Nissin, and to Racing Boy’s mags and FDR wheels.

The first day of the race, the 4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team showed impressive performances during the qualifying lap, gaining them advantageous position points for the final race. Under UBK 115 category, Ondillo placed pole position; Teopengco, Inguito, and Lopez recorded second, third, and fourth in the UBK 150, respectively; also, Teopengco placed second under PSR 160cc. The racing team was more composed and bolder giving the whole team the assurance that they will dominate the actual races—a statement seconded by General Manager Uy.
"The qualifying time trials went well since our riders are used to wet races. It actually depends on their skills because you cannot push the engine power to its limit on a wet track, or else their motorbikes will slip," explained Chief Mechanic Joji Sanvictores.
The second day of the race, there is a threat of inclement weather couldn't dissuade the persistent 4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team. Jeff Teopengco hit the track with the latest Yamaha R15 with its mechanical upgrades and a new VVA engine—powered by a 155.1 cc single cylinder, SOHC, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. Teopengco dominated the first race finishing six laps and continued ruling the second race with a 7-second difference leaving other riders behind. Co-racing under the Moto IR Division, Paul Mark Doblada and Herbert Lopez finished a lauded performances. In the other key category, it was a victorious moment for Mark Djerick Ondillo who started struggling on his first race--even crashing on his first lap. But with his mettle to win, he continued the race with a hurt arm and managed to finish second in the 115 UBK Novice Category.

This winning streak of 4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team sets more determination in conquering the fifth leg of the Eneos Motorsport Championships happening on September 2 and 3 at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
